Philosophy: the ancient Greeks

I’m at that stage in my life where I find it necessary to deal with unfulfilled life ambitions. The year 2018 seems to be a good year to do this, after cleaning up my personal act in 2017. Building further on my focus on philosophy as part of my law studies from 1991 to 1997, I’m now studying the complete History of Philosophy for one reason, and explicitly not for another. I’m not studying philosophy to find answers. Looking for answers would lead me to the limitations of religion. I do study philosophy because it makes me a smarter, more balanced, more tolerant and possibly even better human being. It is very pleasing and a great honour to find myself conversing with the greatest minds in history, while attempting to understand how they came to what they claimed and questioned, and then question them and everything else some more …
