Some of my favourite clothes are now so old, they have started to disintegrate on me. Other things around me, too, disintegrate. Concepts and beliefs I used to take for granted have been stretched, twisted, re-angled – not always voluntarily. Occasionally not without sarcasm. Ambitions have been fulfilled, fine-tuned, or ditched – that’s all fine, do I have a choice? It seems to be the time in life to take a stand, no prisoners taken. The learning is over, decisions finally seem … well, final. A lot in my life today feels like filling gaps I fell into a long time ago.
